Simon Parker, born on May 6, 2000, is an up-and-coming New Zealand rugby union player who currently represents the Chiefs in Super Rugby. Primarily playing as a flanker, Parker has showcased his talent and potential in his young career.
Parker's journey in rugby started to gain momentum after his time at St Peter’s Cambridge. In his first year out of school, he earned a place in the New Zealand Under 20 team, highlighting his exceptional abilities. Prior to this, he had already gained experience wearing the black jersey as part of the New Zealand Barbarians Schools team in 2017 and the New Zealand Schools team in 2018.
Known for his physicality and direct style of play, Parker brings a strong presence to the loose forward position. Hailing from Hautapu in Waikato, he proudly represents his local region and has become a promising talent within New Zealand rugby.
Parker made his Super Rugby debut for the Gallagher Chiefs in 2020, facing the formidable Crusaders.
