Zebre held their ground for the first 15 minutes, but in the 14th minute, the Warriors earned a lineout from a penalty, leading to a try from Johnny Matthews after a maul: 7-0. Just four minutes later, the score was doubled thanks to an excellent pass from Huw Jones to George Horne, who made a dash for the try line before being tackled. A series of pick-and-goes culminated in Jamie Dobie's try as he soared into the corner: 14-0. In the 33rd minute, the Scots secured their third try with Huw Jones, making it 21-3.

In the second half, the Warriors secured their bonus try. In the 53rd minute, a well-executed lineout for the home team set up Huw Jones, who broke through the defense to score between the posts, making it 28-3. Then, in the 62nd minute, Grant Stewart added another try for the Warriors from a maul, bringing the score to 33-3. At this point, Zebre were ruled out and nothing they did was working for them. In the 64th minute, George Horne seemed to score following an excellent pass from Rory Darge, but the TMO ruled it out for a previous forward pass.
