A high quality game at Welford Road saw the home side walk away with a bonus point win but it started with a flurry of tries from the visitors as Gloucester took a 0-14 lead early on thanks to two maul tries.
An early yellow card to Billy Searle after a Ben Loader break set the tone but the hosts managed to settle in and score a maul try of their own before going level thanks to a Joe Heyes pick and go.
From there they took the lead through another maul try and half time saw them a seven point lead and they did not look back.
Archie vd Flier bagged man of the match but barring the early yellow card the Tiger's were very well lead by Billy Searle who kicked very well off the tee and kept the Cherry and Whites pinned back with superb kicks for the corner.
The visitors did end the game well bagging a bonus point try through, you guessed it, another maul try as Jack Innard got over the line with a minute to play with the conversion rushed in order to force a restart, from there Gloucester put together some incredible attacking phases and showed not only good hands, but good patience as they went into the Leicester 22 and won a penalty under the poles which they kicked and secured their losing bonus point heading home with two log points despite the loss
Full Time: Leicester Tigers 38-31 Gloucester
