Freddie Steward to undergo thumb surgery

Leicester Tigers can confirm that Freddie Steward suffered an injury in the latter stages of the victory against Sale Sharks at the weekend.

Geoff Parling commented, “Fred sustained a thumb injury at the end of the Sale game that has unfortunately required surgery, we’re hopeful he’ll be back before the seasons end.”
