Romera has played rugby since he was 5, having played the most part of his career in Montpellier and then in Oyonnax.
In June 2018, Austin Elite Rugby announced the signing of the scrumhalf for the 2018 Major League Rugby season, with his first cap coming against San Diego Legion in Round 9.
