The Cheetahs receive the ball and clear up field. The Pumas go on the counter and after a number of phases they make a break out wide. They get within 10m of the tryline before being tackled out of play. After the Cheetahs lineout, Venter runs a straight line and breaks through the Pumas defense. After some great hands, the Cheetahs get within metres of the tryline, but the Pumas manage to get their hands on the ball after a poor pass. Exciting stuff from both team only 3 minutes in.

Both teams are back on the park, the second half is nearly underway. Pumas kicking off.

Pumas 5m lineout. They form a maul before bashing it up a few times while waiting for the hooter to sound before kicking it out to send the teams into halftime.

The Cheetahs have come to life! Benjamin breaks through the Pumas midfield and gets within 5m of the tryline. After recycling the ball they spread it wide but after consulting with the TMO, Rhule was adjudged to have been tackled out before grounding the ball.

Specman runs a beautiful straight line and slices through the Cheetahs defense. He gets tackled inside the 22m but the Pumas win a penalty after the Cheetahs go off their feet while trying to steal the ball.

The Pumas form a maul but this time the Cheetahs put them under pressure. The force an error from the Pumas backline and manage to get their hands on the ball on halfway. They spread the ball wide and after some great hands, du Plessis gets the ball and puts in a great hand off to go over for a try in the corner. de Wet slots a very difficult conversion from the corner.

Blommetjies makes a good break after he collects and counter from a kick, however the ball is stolen at the ruck and the Pumas manage to make all the lost ground up again. Pumas lineout 35m out from Cheetahs tryline.

Pumas form a solid maul and go 20m before being stopped. Pumas now going through the phases and making ground easily. They eventually win another penalty after a tackler does not roll away. Van Staden lines up what should be an easy 3 points and extend the lead to 13 points.

The Cheetahs are attacking inside the Pumas 22m, but yet again the Pumas are dominant at the ruck and manage to win a penalty after getting their hands on the ball. Brilliant technique. Pumas lineout on halfway.
