Ubisi shot to prominence for the Junior Springbok Women in 2022 when
she delivered an outstanding performance in a match against Zimbabwe
and it was no surprise when a national call up came the following year. She
came through the ranks via the Youth Training Centres pathway and the
Limpopo product made her provincial debut for the Golden Lions Women
in 2022. Her move to the Bulls Daisies in 2023 coincided with her first
international call-up, a tour to Europe, where she made her debut against
Spain in Madrid. She then played in all nine remaining tests of that year,
as it became clear that her physical presence and work rate is a must for
the national side. The same happened in 2024, where she played in all nine
tests and it was no surprise when she was nominated as one of the Players
of the Season at the SA Rugby Awards. An injury in the 2025 pre-season
threatened her participation in England, but she recovered in time, playing
in the final two warm-up matches against the Black Ferns XV.
