RC Toulon proved too strong for Gloucester as they beat them 14-31 in round four of the Champions Cup. The visitors scored four tries (Gael Drean-2, Mathis Ferte and Lewis Ludlam). Marius Domon converted all four and kicked a penalty. For Gloucester, Jack Clement and Tomos Williams scored tries while George Barton coverted both tries.

Three things that stood out in this match.
1. Gloucester is struggling in defence. The managed to only made 78% of their tackles (140/180)
2. Tomos Williams will be a star for Saracens. The Gloucester scrumhalf made 12/15 tackles, won two trunovers, beat two defenders and threw one offload in a team that did not make a lot of meters.

3. Mathis Ferte, Gael Drean and Marius Domon are cooking at the back. The back three of Toulon were all fire as they punished Gloucester on the outside. Domon was 100% off the kicking tee, Dream scored two tries, Ferte scored one and together they made 189 meters and beat 15 defenders.
