Having coached at Table View High School in Cape Town, Peter Engledow moved to England to experience over a decade in the British game. He immediately found success at the Rugby Football Union, becoming a top English development officer and “coach trainer” for eight years.
After meeting former Griquas Coach Hawies Fourie at a coaching conference in New Zealand, he was eventually lured back to South Africa with an opportunity at the Kimberley-based outfit. An Assistant during the 2014 Currie Cup, he was elevated to Head Coach of the Vodacom Cup team and took the reins of the union when Fourie took up a position at Stellenbosch University.
