What England need to do to beat Scotland

England travel to Murrayfield to play Scotland in round two of the 2026 Six Nations.

England won their first match of the capaign against Wales while Scotland lost their opening match against Italy.

The last three matches have all been close, with England winning 16-15 in 2025, Scotland 30-21 in 2024 and Scotland again 29-23 in 2023.  

So what does England need to do to get their 2nd win of the campaign?

1. George Ford needs to out play Finn Russel.

2. England will need to boss the Scottish scrum.

3. Fraser Dingwall need to keep Sione Tuipulotu at bay.

4. The English bench MUST make a impact.
