Toulon's pre-season friendly called off

Rugby Club Toulonnais was to face LOU Rugby in its first friendly match, on Friday August 20, 2021 at 7 p.m.

Given the number of absentees in the Toulon and Lyon workforce, the two TOP 14 clubs are forced to cancel this meeting.

Reports indicate that Toulon currently has around 34 unavailable players.

Among them, many selected for national teams, others selected to compete in the IN EXTENSO SUPERSEVENS, and several injured players. Thus, in order to preserve the physical integrity of the players available, Rugby Club Toulonnais and LOU Rugby preferred to cancel this match.

The Rugby Club Toulonnais expresses its regrets about this cancellation and will reimburse all ticket buyers for this meeting in the coming days.
