Play got underway at the Ashton Gate Stadium where the Bristol bear took on the Worcester Warriors. Lloyd got the bears off to a good start with 2 early penalty kicks and Searle brought the warriors on to the board in the 24th minute. O'Connor scored the first try of the game in the 26th minute but the conversion was missed. Howe scored Worcester's try minutes later but Searle also missed the conversion. Searle missed a penalty kick on the HT hooter to level scores. Mama got the second half for the Warrirors to a great start scoring as early as the 42nd minute. However, Bristol Bears continued to dominate on the scoreboard scoring tries and extending the lead via penalty kicks. Matt Kvesic went off in the 54th minute after a long stoppage in play in what looked to be a very serious injury. FT: Bears 30-13 Warriors
