Leinster booked their ticket for the Champions Cup final after beating Toulon 29-25 at the Aviva Stadium.

Leinster looked in control until the 70th minute when Baptiste Serin scored for Toulon to make the score 29-18. Gael Drean scored in the 75th minute to make it 29-25 but the home side's defence held a last few minutes of attack from Toulon.

For Leinster, Doris stood out. He carried very good and won one turnover. Jamison Gibson-Park also had a solid game and drove his team in the right direction when they were down to 13 men.
For Toulon, David Ribbans stood out and Juan Agnacio Brex. Zach Mercer also got through a ton of work when he entered the field.
Where did Leinster win the game? Leinster's rush defence was on point. They kept Toulon's attack at bay and that forced them to kick. The 3-5th defenders pushed really hard and that meant Toulon got not get their second wave of attack going. On attack their short runners created the gaps for the outside players who made meters.
