Gloucester Rugby confirm their squad for the 2024/25 season

Gloucester Rugby can confirm their squad for the 2024/25 Gallagher Premiership, Premiership Rugby Cup and European Challenge Cup season.

The Cherry & Whites welcome four new additions to the squad for next season. established Welsh international duo, Tomos Williams and Gareth Anscombe, will add quality and strength in depth to the half-back positions, with one of the most lethal try scorers in Premiership history, Christian Wade, also adding firepower to the backs division.

Up front, powerful tight-head prop, Alfie Petch, arrives at Kingsholm after spells with Exeter Chiefs, Northampton Saints and, most recently, Biarritz.

Forwards Seb Blake, Arthur Clark, Freddie Thomas and Harry Taylor and backs Louis Hillman-Cooper and Jake Morris, who all already have plenty of senior experience, step up from the Senior Academy to the Senior squad.

Five players have been added to the Senior Academy, with Caio James and Olly Allport stepping up from last season's U18s side. Deian Gwynne, a student at Hartpury, joins from the Scarlets and George Alexander and George Knowles have arrived from Midlands Central and Midlands West respectively.

In addition to the mid-season departures of Louis Rees-Zammit and Mark Atkinson (retirement), a further eleven players have moved on to pastures new next season. Up front, Fraser Balmain, Santiago Socino, Harry Elrington, Alex Seville and Rob Nixon have all left the Club, with Jonny May, Adam Hastings, Lloyd Evans, Alex Hearle, Will Gilderson & Reece Dunn the backs who have departed.

Gloucester Rugby can also confirm that Lloyd Evans has departed the Club to take up a challenge with a United Rugby Championship side.
