Cardiff run in 6 tries against Zebre Parma

Cardiff Rugby claimed a 40-27 victory over Zebre in an entertaining United Rugby Championship Round 2 encounter at Cardiff Arms Park.

Cardiff made a strong start, with Teddy Williams opening the scoring with an early try. Javan Sebastian and Taine Basham added further tries as the hosts built a commanding lead. Zebre responded through Francisco Minervino, but Cardiff continued to find gaps in the visitors' defence, with Alex Mann crossing before half-time to give the Welsh side a 26-8 advantage.

Tom Bowen extended Cardiff's advantage immediately after the restart, collecting a clever kick to score. He added a second try shortly afterwards, helping Cardiff stretch their lead to 40-8 and put the match seemingly beyond Zebre's reach.

However, Zebre mounted a late comeback, with Giacomo Ferrari, Giulio Bertaccini and Giacomo Da Re all crossing for tries. Da Re converted his own try to reduce the deficit, but Cardiff held on to secure a 13-point victory.
