Calvin Nash Signs New Munster Contract

Munster Rugby are pleased to announce a two-year contract extension for Ireland international winger Calvin Nash.

The new deal will see Nash extend his time at the province until at least 2028.

28-year-old Nash was a try-scorer in Saturday’s vital URC win over Benetton on his 99th appearance for the province.

The Limerick speedster played his club and schools rugby with Young Munster RFC and Crescent College Comprehensive respectively.

He has also lined out for the Cookies in the AIL and joined the Munster Academy in 2016, making his senior debut against Edinburgh in February 2017.

Calvin scored the first of his 28 Munster tries to date against Zebre in 2017 and made his Champions Cup debut against Ospreys in January 2020.

The URC title-winning 2022/23 season was an outstanding campaign for Nash as he nailed down a starting spot on the wing, scoring seven tries in 17 appearances – including a try in the Grand Final win in Cape Town.

To date, he has earned 12 Ireland caps since his debut against Italy in August 2023.

The winger made a huge impact on the international stage in 2024, helping Ireland to the 6 Nations title. He marked his first international start with a try away to France in the competition opener and went on to start all five games, scoring two tries.

The past two seasons have seen Nash continue to impress and he scored six tries apiece in the 2023/24 and 2024/25 campaigns.

Injuries have limited his involvement so far this season but he has still contributed two tries in his eight appearances, including the opener in Treviso on Saturday night.
