Beeeeast!!

FT. Newcastle come agonisingly close to their first home win in a long time. Irish close out the match and will take home 4 hard earned points. Newcastle started the second half poorly and were punished by Mulchrone. From then on they were chasing the game and despite the best efforts of Sinoti and co they were unable to manage the victory. Newcastle will rue their missed chances. As for Irish they will pleased with a clinical and efficient performances. They excelled at the basics and a special mention to the front row who were excellent. Shane Geraghty was the commanding force who might be better suited at 10 in the future, Thanks for following UR today, until next time.

18 points in missed kicks is pathetic we didn't deserve win with that

Come on irish!!!

Sinoti does exceptionally well to get the ball down but Newcastle fail to convert which leaves them two down with four to go.

Newcastle opt for the corner with just 6 minutes to go.

With just a few minutes to go Newcastle ring in the changes.

Never a try, more forward than a drunk Geordie

Despite some question marks over the final pass a try is awarded to Irish.

Newcastle just 5m out with a line out against 7 man Irish.
