Nz refs are the worst in the world atm. It's disgusting how bad they have been over the last few weeks

More questionable ref'ing

@LoVern Van Tonder interesting passage of play actually. Woodward spotted the Stormers were in a huddle and so chipped the penalty from the tee deliberatly into the corner for Scott Higginbotham to chase, looking for the try. The referee however doesnt like it and calls the penalty back to be retaken.

With the Rebels on the attack Deon Fourie is guilty of coming in from the side right under the referees nose, and he is rightly penalised. Woodward converts to narrow the gap to one point, with the half time whistle about to blow.

What just happened?

5 minutes to go in the half and the Rebels are really pushing hard for a score, looking particularly dominant at scrum time. Stormers are holding on but are really struggling to match the Rebels at the scrum as we have another one coming up now, 4 minutes to go in the half.

Try for the Stormers courtesy of a powerful Etzebeth run. Etzebeth runs a hard line to power through a gap and get to the Rebels 22, where he draws the last man to put Habana through for the score. Pietersen again tacks on the extra two, giving his side the lead for the first time in the game.

Lol worst defense ever

Great response to conceding from the Stormers. Off the back of a solid scrum, scrum half Schreuder runs into Stirzaker and looks to be tackled but is not held, allowing him regain his feet and scramble clear for the try. Pietersen adds the extras to narrow the gap to three, with nearly 20 minutes gone.
