In June 2019, Worboys signed a professional contract with Bath, marking the beginning of his professional rugby career. He quickly made his mark, featuring for Bath in the Premiership Rugby Shield by the end of the year.

In 2022, George embarked on a loan spell with RFU Championship side Coventry R.F.C. to gain more experience. To honor his brother's memory, George makes a 'T' gesture with his arms whenever he scores.

Known for his attacking prowess and playmaking abilities, Worboys brings energy, ambition, and skill to the game. He demonstrates intelligence and vision, allowing him to create scoring opportunities for both himself and his teammates. George's dedication to learning is evident through his commitment to training, games, and interactions with coaches and teammates. He has represented England U18s alongside players like Orlando Bailey, Ewan Richards, and John Stewart, showcasing his talents at the international level.
