Born in Derby, England, Taylor has represented several clubs across several continents. A flyhalf by trade, his professional career began in New Zealand with Tasman before he joined the Crusaders in Super Rugby. Taylor then enjoyed stints at Leicester, Saracens and Nottinghman before moving to Gloucester in 2010.
