Former Ireland u20s lock Jack Regan made his Super Rugby debut for the Highlanders in the 2021 season opener starting in the pack against the Crusaders.

The former Ulsterman was welcomed to Super Rugby by All Black prop Joe Moody who palmed the lock in his face during a maul.

Moody escaped punishment for the incident in the early stages of the game.
