A high intensity match from start to finish, Bath got off to the better start with Santiago Carreras setting up the opener for Dan Frost to score. Leicester hit back not long after with a tap and go move after winning a free kick at the scrum, Cracknell eventually dives over after pressure from the forwards. Bath go on to score two well worked team tries, but let Leicester back in the game through poor discipline. Leicester forwards power them back into the match with their dominant maul. Thomas du Toit gets a yellow card on the stroke of 80 minutes for a high tackle and Billy Searle comes off the bench to edge Leicester in front with a match winning kick.
