URC 2024/25 | Lots more to come from Edinburgh Rugby

Having missed out on a Play-Off spot last season by a singular point, Edinburgh will be disappointed with how their season ended, but the Scottish side know they have plenty more in the tank ahead of next season.

Sean Everitt's side ran in an impressive 47 tries last season, scoring a total of 416 points. They made 6572 metres, with 108 clean breaks.

They've also made some quality signings ahead of the new season including the return of Magnus Bradbury from Bristol Bears and the exciting acquisition of Mosese Tuipolutu from the NSW Waratahs, who is the brother of Scotland and Glasgow Warriors centre, Sione Tuipolutu.

Edinburgh will be looking to keep their home form going at the Hive once again next season, having lost just two games there all campaign. They also got some big wins on the road against the likes of Ulster and Cardiff.

Key Players

The return to full fitness of Darcy Graham will be like a new signing for Edinburgh with his try-scoring exploits up there with the very best.

Duhan van der Merwe will continue to be a big game player, as will the likes of Pierre Schoeman, Ewan Ashman, and Ben Velacott.

Van der Merwe made an astonishing 806 metres last season in his 12 games, beating 61 defenders and scoring three tries.
