Twenty two players invited to second Springbok camp

22 players from the Stormers and Lions have been invited to attend the second Springbok alignment camp from 8 to 11 April in Vanderbijlpark situated in the south of Johannesburg.

 

The Springbok management are using the three alignment camps to accelerate preparations for the forthcoming international rugby season.

 

Twelve Bulls players attended the first camp, which concluded in Vanderbijlpark on Wednesday after flanker Marco van Staden was added to the initial group of 11 players. Two members of the Bulls coaching staff, Hayden Groepes (attack coach) and Jacus Coetzee (strength and conditioning coach), as well as the convener of national selectors, Peter Jooste, also attended the proceedings over the four days.


 

The second camp is set to start on Sunday, while Durban will host the third gathering from 22 to 25 April.
