Ntamack and Jalibert clash in Top 14 semi-final

Toulouse and Bordeaux clash in the second Top 14 semi-final on Saturday with the clash between Romain Ntamack and Matthieu Jalibert headlining the encounter.

The two French pivots go head to head as the battle for the test starting jumper continues. La Rochelle and Clermont do battle on Friday to decide who will face either Toulouse or Bordeaux in the showpiece event in a weeks time.

Both sides are near full strength for the semi-final with Toulouse fielding a full test front row with Cyril Baille, Julien Marchand and Charlie Faumuina starting up front.

Jerome Kaino shifts in from the back row to partner Rory Arnold while Rynhard Elstadt, Francois Cros and Selevasio Tolofua complete an all international forward pack.

Antoine Dupont and Romain Ntamack make up the halfbacks for Toulouse with Santiago Chocbares starting outside of former All Black Pita Ahki in the midfield.

Outwide Matthis Lebel is the only player who is not capped internationally in the starting line up and starts on the left wing with Springbok star Cheslin Kolbe on the right wing.

Thomas Ramos completes the side.

As for Bordeaux, former France loosehead Jefferson Poirot captains the side with Clement Maynadier and Vadim Cobilas in the front row.

Kane Douglas and Cyril Cazeaux start in the second row with Jandre Marais absent for the visitors. Former Wallaby no.8 Scott Higginbotham packs down at the back of the scrum with Los Pumas start Guido Petti on the one flnak and France international Cameron Woki on the other.

Maxime Lucu and Matthieu Jalibert are at 9 & 10 respectively while Remi Lamerat and Ulupano Seateni combine in the centres. Star back Yoram Moefana is out injured so Ben Lam, Santiago Cordero and Romain Buros complete the back three for Bordeaux.
