The All Blacks are back to winning ways and retain the Bledisloe Cup

The first half was one that saw the Wallabies show fighting spirit, take the lead initially and then stay in contention once the All Blacks got a foothold. It was a thrilling opening 40 minutes and a great display of rugby for all fans. The thought of the Wallabies winning at Eden Park and potentially getting one hand on the Bledisloe Cup was on everyones mind.

The second half started with the visitors coming out the blocks firing and they created two brilliant moments that in a few months time would very likely lead to at least one try as Australia settle under new coach Les Kiss. It was not to be and they gave away two silly penalties allowing New Zealand to exit from deep in their 22 under no pressure.

From there things went the way of the hosts and did not let up as they scored 43 unanswered points taking the game away from the visitors and sealing what has been the norm for the All Blacks at Eden Park and the norm of the Bledisloe Cup.
