Mitre 10 Cup RD 4 Highlights | Bay of Plenty v Auckland

Week four of the Mitre 10 Cup kicked off between Bay of Plenty and Auckland at the Rotorua International Stadium. Bay of Plenty lost away last week, while Auckland won at home. The game was an even affair in the first half. Hickey scored the first points of the game with a penalty kick in the 16th minute. Four minutes later and Black responded with a penalty kick as well. Rayasi scored a brilliant try in the 27th minute after gathering the ball from a cross kick. He also ended the first half with a try to extend Auckland's lead at the break. The second half started as the first with both sides having equal amount of possession. Carter scored for Bay of Plenty in the 53rd minute to give them a slime chance of victory. Plummer stepped up and increased the lead with his 56th minute penalty, which sealed the game.
