England captain Chris Robshaw has learnt from former England cricket captain Andrew Strauss.
At the beginning of Stuart Lancaster’s tenure as head coach, Strauss was one of a number of high-profile names from other sports invited to speak to the England squad, but Robshaw has admitted that subsequent conversations with Strauss have been helpful in shaping his captaincy methods.
“I got to play golf with him at the BMW Pro-Am a couple of years ago,” said Robshaw.
“I saw him at a dinner and then at Wimbledon so I have seen him a couple of times.
