Final score here at Welford Road is Leicester 31 - Newcastle 6. A very straight forward bonus point victory for Leicester as Newcastle hardly made any impact on the match. With 3 tries wrapped up by the end of the first half the only question left to answer was whether or not Leicester would get the bonus point, and they do so early on in the second half. No joy for Dean Richards coming back as a coach to face the team who he played 314 games for, he will surely be hoping for a better performance next week against Gloucester.
