Good evening and welcome to UR coverage of the opening game of the 2015 Ladies 6 Nations. Tonight the Italians are hosts to the Irish. Ireland have been boosted by new coach Tom Tierney who has 6 uncapped players in his match day squad. Ireland have plenty of depth on the bench including Tania Rosser who scored an excellent try in the World Cup just gone. The Italians are possibly more established being led by number 8 Silvia Gaudino who has captained her country since 2011. just 8 minutes till KO.

If a man has played rugby in his life, he has respect for anyone who has played. If a man has only watched other men play, he doesn't share the same respect for the sport. It's rough. Much respect to these women who represent their respective nations.
