Top 14 is definitely the best league

Its all over! Wow, what a finish here in the Stade des Alpes! Grenoble have earned themselves a famous victory in what was spectacular finish to this intriguing contest. An 82nd minute try from Australian supremo, Matt Giteau, gave Wilkinson the opportunity to level the sides and clinch the 2 point draw bonus. It was not to be however. In front of a hostile crowd, Wilkinson failed to convert from 5 metres in from the touch line and as a result, Grenoble claim the victory. Another fine win for the home side from what is now a largely positive start to this year's competition. Toulon on the other hand will leave the Alps with only a single point and a feeling of great disappointment. Their super star outfit appeared a little off for the duration of the game and if it was not for the boot of Wilkinson they would have been beaten long ago. Some more work on the training paddock I feel is needed for these boys, in order to improve cohesion in the side. An interesting night of Top 14 rugby!
