The final whistle blows and Toulon have won this game by 14 points to 9.It was an extremely brave performance from the home side as no matter what Toulon threw at them they continued to make their tackles and play running rugby. In the end though Toulon's pressure paid off, and although he had missed a number of kicks, it was a Johnny Wilkinson drop goal that sealed his sides victory. Next week will be the reverse fixture of this game as Exeter have to travel to Toulon and I just wonder whether they will be able to put in such a big and energy sapping performance two weeks in a row.
