The Cheetahs welcome newcomers Jaguares to the Free State Stadium this evening. The Cheetahs are the first South African franchise to play in this years Super Rugby competition. Preparation for this years event went well for the Cheetahs as they beat both the Bulls and the Kings in pre-season friedlies. Preaparation for the Jaguares was not so pleasant as they were beaten by the Stormers but, bounced back by beating the Lions in their next game. If the preseason games are anything to go by the Cheetahs will be up against a free flowing , quick passing style of rugby from the Jaguares. I still think cheetahs will win this one, but only just. It's the Jaguars 1st game and yes they have an awesome line up but remember they only picked up form in the World Cup, it's been 3 months and it's a new team, new competition and it's in SA. Jaguars will take a few games to find their rhythm. It took Toulon a few seasons to dominate etc.
