Hello and welcome to today’s coverage of Australia vs France live from Etihad Stadium, Melbourne. It came as a shock when the Wallabies ran in seven tries to blow the French out of the water in a great performance a week ago. In response to the heavy defeat, French coach Phillippe Saint-Andre has axed 10 players from last weeks starting side and has included the likes of Captain Thierry Dusautoir, giant centre Mathieu Bastareaud and fullback Brice Dulin after they were rested due to their late arrival following the Top 14 final. The Wallabies have been forced to make three changes to their starting lineup with Tatafu Polota-Nau starting in place of Captain Stephen Moore who has a knee injury, former skipper James Horwill comes in for Sam Carter who has a Ankle injury and Ben McCalman takes over from Wycliff Palu who is also suffering from a ankle injury. Michael Hooper will become Australia’s youngest captain since 1947. France will be looking to restore some pride and have picked a much more physical team to that of last week; will they be able to tame the likes of the sensational Israel Folau and the feisty Michael Hooper? Ultimate Rugby will keep you up to date throughout the match.
