A powerhouse Fijian prop, Saulo broke through into the test team in 2012 and made his debut as a replacement in a 54-12 defeat to England at Twickenham on 10 November 2012

He featured at the 2019 Rugby World Cup for Fiji taking his test cap tally to 46 during the tournament.

A move to French side Agen would follow and in June 2021, he signed up with Rugby Atlanta (ATL) and played in the American Major League Rugby (MLR).

Saulo joined the Fijian Drua for their debut Super Rugby Pacific season in 2022.
