Schwalger is one of the stand-out hookers in the Investec Super Rugby competition. The former captain of Samoa and three time RWC veteran joined forces with Tana Umaga at Counties Manukau and helped the side to their ITM Cup Championship title win. A player who possesses outstanding leadership skills, Schwalger captained Samoa to their historic win over Australia in 2011. He has been around the world and played for the Sale Sharks, Llanelli Scarlets, Highlanders, Hurricanes and Taranaki ITM Cup side.
