Garry Ringrose, born on January 26, 1995, is a professional rugby union player from Ireland. He is recognized as a skilled centre, representing both Leinster in the United Rugby Championship and the Ireland national team.

Ringrose made his Pro12 debut for Leinster against Cardiff Blues on September 12, 2015, following his impressive performances for the Ireland under-20s. In just his second match, he scored his first Pro14 try in a 37-13 victory against Newport Gwent Dragons on October 3. Notably, Ringrose captained Leinster in the 2020 Pro14 Final, where they secured an undefeated domestic season with a resounding 27-5 win over rivals Ulster.

Ringrose's international journey began with the Ireland under-20s, making his debut against Scotland in the 2014 Six Nations Under 20s Championship. Although he was dropped after the second game against Wales, he returned to the side for the 2014 IRB Junior World Championship and made a significant impact, scoring three tries as Ireland reached the semi-finals. His outstanding performances earned him a place on the shortlist for World Rugby Junior Player of the Year.

Ringrose made his senior international debut for Ireland against Canada in November 2016, starting in a 52-21 victory at the Aviva Stadium. In the following game, he scored his first international try in a thrilling 27-24 win over Australia. He was named in the Ireland squad for the 2017 Six Nations Championship and continued to shine, scoring tries against Italy and Japan during the summer tests. His consistent performances earned him recognition and awards such as the Nevin Spence Young Player of the Year award.

Throughout his career, Ringrose has represented Ireland in various competitions, including the November tests and the Six Nations Championship. He has been a key player in the Ireland midfield and has made notable contributions to the team. As of November 2019, Ringrose had amassed 28 international caps for Ireland.

In his club career with Leinster, Ringrose has made 65 appearances, scoring 80 points. He has also showcased his talent in the prestigious Champions Cup, with 24 appearances and 5 tries to his name ahead of the 2019 edition of the tournament.
