Damian-Cristian Stratila is the younger brother of former Steaua teammate Sabin Strătilă
Between 2016 and 2019 Stratila played for Steaua București
In 2019, he signed with Timișoara Saracens.
Strătilă is made his international debut for Romania during the 2021 Autumn Nations Series in a test match against Uruguay on 7 November 2021.
Ahead of the Rugby World Cup 2023, Stratila has been named in the squad for Romania.
