Ulster Injury Update on Baloucoune, Carson and Hume
The Ulster Rugby Performance Medicine Team has provided a squad update ahead of the province's Champions Cup Round of 16 clash against Union Bordeaux Begles this Sunday.
Ben Carson (back) and Robert Baloucoune (hamstring) were both removed from play due to injury during Friday's Round 14 URC victory over DHL Stormers. Both players will have scans early this week to further assess the extent of their respective injuries.
James Hume was removed from the matchday squad on Friday afternoon due to illness. His fitness for selection for this week's game will be monitored through training over the coming days.
