Five things we learned after round four of the Six Nations
- 290
After a THRILLER of matches in round four of the 2026 Six Nations, we look at what we learned.

Full times
Ireland 27-17 Wales
Scotland 50-40 France
Italy 23-18 England

1. Scotland can rise when they need to. No one gave them a chance before round four. The out played France in every aspect of the match.
2. Wales are not far away from winning a big match. In the 76th minute, Ireland were only leading with 7 points. In round three of the Six Nations, they only lost with 3 points to Scotland. Their time will come.
3. The senior players of England are not pulling their weight. Maro Itoje leaned over and hit the ball out of Alessandro Garbisi's hands. Ellis Genge pushing Italian players off the ball. Elliot Daly missing a vital tackle on Tommaso Menoncello. Your key players cannot be doing those type of things.
4. Alex Mann is one for the future. The Cardiff loseforward made a massive 32/34 tackles against Ireland.
5. France will win the Six Nations next weekend. Yes they lost against Scotland but one could see the moment they started getting their offloads away they were purring. With England falling quickly, one can only see France bagging four tries.

Onto the last weekend of the 2026 Six Nations.
