Brumbies name team for Drua rematch

The ACT Brumbies are thrilled to name Tom Wright in the starting XV to make his long-awaited return ahead of Saturday night’s showdown with the Drua in Canberra. 

The electrifying fullback slots straight into the starting XV, ready to light up GIO Stadium once again. Wright tore his ACL against the touring British & Irish Lions last year and has put in a long stint in rehab to earn his way back.

Back-rower Charlie Cale will miss the clash as he undergoes assessment on a shoulder injury, with Tuaina Taii Tualima named to start at number eight in his place.

Flanker Luke Reimer is the only other change to the starting side, rewarded with a start after strong performances off the bench through the opening rounds.

Wright’s return injects genuine class into the side and sets the stage for a Saturday night clash primed for free-flowing, running rugby.
