Ilona Maher reacts to Wallaroos defeat

USA Women's Eagles player and Olympian Ilona Maher spoke to media following her side's 27-19 defeat to the Wallaroos at GIO Stadium last night.
The Pacific Four Series clash was the first fixture of a mouthwatering double header, with the Safeguard Global ACT Brumbies later defeating the Reds 24-14 to move top of the Smartech Super Rugby Pacific ladder.
Rugby superstar Maher revealed she had enjoyed her 10-day stint in the nation's capital, citing the weather and the food scene as her favourite parts of the city.
"Canberra's been nice! I saw some kangaroos out in the wild, although I stayed away, I didn't want to box them. I saw some cockatoos as well," Maher said.
"The weather's been lovely, it's like a warm fall. The leaves are falling, it's almost romantic out there.
"And then I have eaten a lot of food, Japanese, Italian. I've been in the centre a lot, Lonsdale Street is my street. If you want to catch me in Canberra, catch me at Lonsdale Street!"
