Exeter fight back after being 26-6 down

The Exeter Chiefs boys will be happy tonight after beating Sale Sharks 26-27 after trailing 26-6.

The home side
Sale started strong with George Ford kicking penalty goals in the 11,14 and 18th minute. Luke James crossed for the first try while Ford kicked another penalty and conversion to give them 19 points in the first half. Alex Wills scored his try in the 48th minute with a conversion from Robert du Preez but that is where the points stopped for Sale Sharks
The Visitors
Henry Slade got his team on the board after 6min with a penalty kick. Another one from him in the 16th minute gave them 6 points at half time. Jack Yeandle scored Exeter's opening try in the 64th minute. Olly Woodburn scored his try in the 68th minute and Scott Sio in the 69th minute. Slade kicked 3 more conversions to make it 27 points for them men in white.

Who stood out?
For Sale Sharks, Luke Cowan-Dickie and Luke James stood out. Cowan-Dickie was excellent in the lineouts and in defence, making 16 tackles while James scored a try and was great under the high ball.
For Exeter, Dafydd Jenkins, Tom Hooper and Charlie Chapman was great. Jenkins was all over the park and chases the high balls well, Hooper was a monster on defence and Chapman's box kicks in the second half was 10/10

Yellow cards
Tom Curry and Tom Hooper both received yellow cards for high tackles.
What is next for the teams?
Sale takes on Glasgow Warriors next weekend in round one of the Champions Cup while Exeter hosts the Cheetahs in round one the Challenge Cup
