Tjiuee Uanivi

Uanivi , a Namibian rugby player can play either second-row or flanker, and has played in some of the top divisions of world rugby including the Top 14, Super Rugby and Guinness Pro 12.

He featured for Brive in France between 2013 and 2015 where he played 10 times in the Top 14 and European Rugby Challenge Cup before signing for the Sharks in South Africa in 2016. He scored his first try for his country against Romania in the World Rugby Nations Cup in June 2016. He then joined Glasgow for the 16/17 season.

The versatile forward has earned 15 caps for his country so far after making his debut in 2014, and those appearances include the 2015 Rugby World Cup in England.

In July 2017, he signed for Championship club London Scottish and played there until 2019. In the 2019/20 and 2020/21 seasons, he played for Massy.

From 2021/22 until currently, Uanivi plays for Montauban in the Pro D2, where he has played a total of 42 matches and scored two tries. He will remain with Montauban for the 2023/24 Season in the Pro D2.

Ahead of the Rugby World Cup 2023, Uanivi has been named in the squad for Namibia.
