Why Tadhg Beirne was shown a red card vs New Zealand

Tadhg Beirne was shown a yellow card two minutes in the match between Ireland and New Zealand for a "no arms and shoulder to the head" tackle on Beauden Barret. After a bunker review, it was upgraded to a red card for Beirne being upright, arms tucked and never in a legal position to make the tackle.
