Why Exeter's Henry Slade is worthy of being a World Cup wildcard for England
Exeter are one of the shining lights in the English game.
So many clubs can learn from them in how they perform on and off the field.
And by that I mean clubs already in the Aviva Premiership as well as those in the Championship, like mine at Yorkshire Carnegie, who are striving to make that level.
As regards the latter, Exeter are simply the benchmark.
With Yorkshire Carnegie now we are looking at what they did and hoping we might be able to emulate their impact in the future.
Nobody expected them to come up for the 2010-11 season, but they shocked Bristol to do so.
