USA 31-31 AUS: Australia reaction (head coach Yapp, co-captain Chancellor)

Australia head coach Jo Yapp and co-captain Emily Chancellor react to the 31-31 draw against the USA in Pool A at York Community Stadium on Saturday.

Jo Yapp, head coach

On how she is feeling:
"On the whole, a bit disappointed, a bit flat. We let them into the game in that second half and our penalty count allowed them access to our half, and when they're in there, they're hard to stop."

On work-ons for the game against England:
"Ultimately our discipline really let us down. At times, we weren't accurate with our launch plays as well. We'll always reflect and look to bounce back - the girls have got a big game next week."

On England:

"They're obviously a strong side and ranked number one for a reason. They're moving the ball well , but we just need to focus on us, ultimately."

Emily Chancellor, co-captain

On how she feels:
"It's a bit mixed. We had ascendancy in parts, then USA came back. Right now, it's a little bit flat as a feel as both games wanted that game real bad and both teams feel a little bit like they've lost it."

On what they need to work on ahead of the England game:
"I don't know exactly at this stage. Our discipline is the first thing I can pick up on on, that's the overarching feeling. We're going to have to go back to the drawing board against England, think about our for and against [points]. Or just a win."
