URC Round 18 Stats: Ulster vs Edinburgh

• Tom Stewart’s three tries last weekend saw him overtake Tim Visser’s record of 14 tries in a season, having claimed 16 thus far. He is also the first player in the history of the league to score back-to-back hat tricks
• Jacob Stockdale – who made more carries than any other back in Round 17 (16) – also made the most metres, a total of 143
• Ulster have made more tackles this season than any other team (2,536), an average of 149.2 per 80 minutes. However, they have the second-lowest rate of tackle dominance (3.3%)

Edinburgh Rugby

• As well as making the most contact metres in the round (28), Hamish Watson beat the most defenders (eight). He has also thrown the joint-most offloads in the BKT URC (21, = Jonny McNicholl)
• Viliame Mata has made more carries than any other player in the league (200). His gainline success rate is 51%
• Edinburgh Rugby have beaten more defenders than any other team, a total of 347 and an 80-minute average of 20.4
