Top Performers - Canada vs USA
- 1835
The USA Eagles have had their most successful June Series in a number of years and topped it off with a comprehensive win against Canada on Saturday. Olmstead, Hassler and Sears-Duru were the stand out performers for the home side but were outshone by the Eagles as they took a 17-42 loss to end a poor June Series. Three players stood out on the day.
AJ MacGinty:
The Eagles were seldom off the front foot as the Sale Sharks pivot dictated play the entore game. Accurate off the tee he was a continuous thron in the Canada side. His moment of brilliance in the 23rd minute off a perfect chip set up the opening try and 1st of 3 for Cam Dolan
Cameron Dolan:
A hat trick on the day for the 8th man who was brillliant on the day with 15 tackles and beating 3 defenders as he punished Canada out wide.
Marcel Brache:
Solid positional and linking play from the Western Force back as he combined well with the big Paul Lasike on his inside channel. Augspurger, Scully, Hooley and Dolan were continuously fed good ball in the outside channels.
