The Waratah’s picked up an important victory against the Lions this morning. The outscored the men from Johannesburg five tries to two and the result will shake up the table a little.

The Top Performer For Friday:

Andrew Kellaway (Rebels)

Marino Mikaele Tu'u (Highlanders)

Angus Bell (Waratahs)

He gave the Lions all sorts of problems during the set-piece and with ball in hand he managed to make 58 metres with his six carries. Bell, who broke into the Tahs team this year, scored his first try in Super Rugby.

Marnus Schoeman (Lions)

One of the few Lions players that really put his hands up today, He might have not made many metres with the ball in hand, but he did score two tries and pulled off 3 offloads. On defence, Schoeman made four tackles and won a turnover.
